The rate of terrorist threat level in the UK is substantial! How do we protect ourselves and others from this?

Think about this. The places we feel the most comfortable coinsides with the places we feel most secure. What is that phrase? Home comforts. Our homes are our secure safe place where the people around us are our closest family or friends. But what happens when we leave the house to the pub or a major event?  https://images.app.goo.gl/c4q1xw6YG38sioD78 Security. Door supervisors, Stewards, anyone who holds an SIA license helps around our area to keep us safe. In order to do so they require training in all fields and as a part-time Steward I have accumulated a lot of knowledge on how we keep ourselves and others safe.   1.  Always keep your eye on the public  No matter how busy a venue is everywhere has rules and regulations people have to follow and if someone isn't or is getting out of hand you need to be there. As well as making sure you body search and bag search with the right measures. Using the back of your hand to search avoids the more sensitive part of your h...

Everyone starts somewhere. Independent business is everywhere and needs support to build a sense of community both online and offline. This is especially evident in Portsmouth because every small business is quite close to one another location wise strengthening this sense of community even further.  ‘Shopping local allows people to pay local employees, and keeps money in the city. - Liz Penman June 11 2020 ("Why supporting local Portsmouth shops is 'more important than ever' ahead of reopening", 2022) https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/business/consumer/supporting-portsmouth-areas-local-shops-is-more-important-than-ever-ahead-of-reopening-2880771 Indie Games Even purchasing ...

Global warming is something we can not escape from but we can improve it.

Image
(Drawing by myself)  With Glaciers decreasing, water levels rising, along with the temperature of the earth our planet is becoming increasingly more flooded every year. And every single person on this earth, including you, are at fault. In fact, in 2020 alone the average global temperatures were 1.76 degrees F (0.98 degrees C) which is warmer than the 20th century average (Lindsey Dahlman, 2021)! With the second-hottest year recorded it's clear that we still need to drastically improve the situation.  But just how do I help? You may ask.  Well, to know how to improve the situation you first need to observe how and what we are doing to make such a dramatical impact (on a global scale) and Earth-orbiting satellites and other technological advances have enabled scientists to observe this.  https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDZc2geQ8838uNow4kq3P65HkAxvFV8MKAjW538YrXkume-ZLiYQENwUyVx0S1_nX-JjILbyZd02dJ8YamTIIUqmNYlx6jLLlsKTyQvFEIk9Q3fWtUvx_kwAJJwU...

Extreme diets. Do they truly assist our health?

I'm sure we have all read, watched or heard these over the internet. Or maybe even tried them ourselves. The use of meal replacement drugs, The Cabbage soup diet or the Grapefruit diet etc... Try these today and help you lose weight fast! But these just are not healthy to continue or provide enough food/energy for the body to function on a daily basis. https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisbEGXmfGKMcemRW5EE4qLjfiD0FutcugyEA4XpWv7Xm6oFqjGTun55JTEudMXhxiB-yqouP5uF-ojz7FbAYWpBnIxD9JGjNjLoPTFkLVrin6n3Ft0p3dra5DRDP4Ixkthls3exucU7UImOQ4AeNOj4aNhHGQcPJWM__Cas-q7x6KXrrfkhgUTIsAe/s1103/1ED64DE4-698E-4D47-9707-0D7A8AC2701A.jpeg Some people have even obtained eating disorders stemmed from diet plans and a focused. I must only eat this small amount mindset. Whether that's restricting so much that it becomes the focus of their lives or breaking down after a while and gaining a larger amount of weight than they ever would have wanted.  These diets aren't even recom...
